Pros: The weather did not help , having the houses so close was not good.

Cons: The closeness of the houses.

Perfect place to stay

Pros: Beautiful building, very clean, decorated for Halloween, information about local events and activities available. Lounge and dining area available at all hours, very friendly informative staff.

Cons: Absolutely nothing! Excellent stay!

Pros: Great night's sleep for price, very clean and relaxing.

Cons: Shower was cold.

Pros: Ease of check in, Lovely staff gave polite and professional service. Clean, well ordered facilities

Pros: The receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, considering I was very tired. The hostel was immaculately clean, my room comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was fine too. I would definitely recommend this place.

Cons: I like YHA properties because they are often historic buildings, the pictures online show YHA as a beautiful old house, with weatherworn stone, bags of historic charm. Why then would you paint the exterior cream??? It looks terrible, like a beefeater pub. It made me really sad, and I'm sure it was done with the best of intentions...

Pros: The impressive size of the building, clean rooms and facilities.

Cons: Nothing, though thought there might have been more residents than the eight people.

Pros: Cet endroit est exceptionnel : une maison majestueuse qui impose . Elle a toute une histoire … Et sa transformation en un lieu d’accueil vraisemblablement de groupes est une bonne idée. C’est grand, grand , grand…. Beau. Beau, beau.Literie très confortable. Une cuisine équipée plus qu’il n’en faut pour un couple.

Cons: Quelques points négatifs : le wifi ne fonctionne pas bien au dernier étage. Les serviettes de toilettes ne sont pas fournies. La cuisine mise à disposition est en sous sol, pas agréable, accès difficile, et il vous faut porter vos couverts, nourriture à l’étage au dessus , dans la salle à manger qui ne possède pas de point d’eau, ni de couverts . Alors qu’une autre cuisine existe à cet étage mais fermée… Les espaces collectifs ne sont pas très propres, nous avons déplacé des fauteuils pour chercher des pièces de jeu disparues, et il y avait des restes de nourriture dessous et bien sûr, des pièces de jeu .

Great stay.

Pros: Lovely old house with great features and views. For a Friday night in July, the first day of school summer holidays it was very quiet. It was the best sleep I’d had all week of B&Bs.

Cons: A little ways from the popular attractions.
