Excellent Hostel and Recommended.

Pros: The hostel is quite easy to get to and the bus stop is outside the hostel. I have stayed before and I would recommend to others to stay at the hostel.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike. I am quite happy to stay at the hostel in York.

Short but sweet!

Pros: The staff, as always was friendly and very, very helpful. The room was clean, quiet and exactly what I needed.

Cons: Nothing. The hostel did everything that I was hoping that it would.

Lovely old hostel

Pros: In a word. Everything! Good dorm. Beds plenty of space in the room--good and easy to work showers. Very good lounge and kitchen. free tea and coffee all day. A good small bar with friendly staff. Decent laundry facilities.

Pros: One of the best hostels I have stayed at in the UK. The outstanding highlight was the wonderful (free!) history walking tour given by the amazing Erika. I will definitely be returning!

Excellent hostel. One of the best.

Pros: Convenient location in a quiet area. Staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. Bed a little small. I’m 5ft 10 and my feet touched the bottom of the bunk but good god it was a comfy bed anyway. The dining room and living room were large. Kitchen excellent and the rooms really spacious and we had en-suite each end. Definitely stay again
