Crown Hotel

Pros: Very friendly, helpful staff. Warm pup atmosphere. Comfortable room. Good pub food.

Cons: Bed was a little soft for me, but still comfortable.

Pros: Greeted on arrival and shown to our room by landlady . Breakfast was very good with different choices. Family room was large with 2 separate rooms. Staff very friendly especially Lynda and Jackie. Location was near to everything.

Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: Everything was excellent. Bed so comfy and the breakfast was absolutely gorgeous.

A hotel with a pub atmosphere, very friendly and efficient staff, wonderful food and great chef.

Pros: The landlady bent over backwards for us, I requested a bath so she put us up in her guest house at the end of the street which had one. The breakfast was exceptional with a good choice. The staff at breakfast the three mornings were helpful, friendly and efficient. We had an evening meal for my husbands birthday and the food was wonderful, the ambience of the hotel and the atmosphere was fabulous. The Crown Hotel is in a great location, we visited Nunnington hall, Nostell hall and gardens, Skipton, kettlewell, Thirsk and Richmond also Grassington where All Creatures great and small was filmed.

Cons: Based on our experience there wasnt anything not to like. The only criticism would be they dont serve food on a Sunday evening, but everyone deserves a night off. They serve Sunday lunch till 3 and they are a very busy pub and restuarant.

Pros: Very friendly hosts. Traditional old pub and in a good situation.

Pros: Lovely host and the staff that work there. Welcoming, took their time to show us to our room. Food was absolutely superb, breakfast just as good. Had a brilliant stay.
