Most fabulous hotel

Pros: The breakfasts were wonderful - lovely ingredients cooked beautifully. Coffee fab too! Staff lovely - rooms gorgeous - we loved it.

Cons: I thought there was a smell of cooking the first day and then realised the smell was sage room diffusers - reminded me of roast dinner so not a bad thing 🤣

Fantastic place would stay again

Pros: Fantastic place excellent service and lovely breakfast. Room was lovely and spacious with delicious complimentary chocolates to eat as well.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Bedroom was very comfortable, clean perfectly adequate for our short stay. No complaints. I Must add it was a joy to see so many young people enjoying each others company, happy and laughing - not many phones!

Cons: Nowhere to sit in evening away from the bar area if not eating.

Pros: Slightly pricy but you get what you pay for. Nice staff.

Cons: Lots of stairs - and for an overpacker it was hard to get the cases up and down the stairs.

Pros: Attention to detail, real milk and a bottle of water in the fridge. Good toiletries, and towels ,comfortable beds. The fact that we could actually get a twin room. They supplied postcode for the car park

Cons: No on site parking, although public parking nearby

Fantastic stay

Pros: Beautiful property, room was presented to a very high standard. Bathroom was amazing! Restaurant was lovely. Food first class and staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful.

Cons: Nothing not to like, was first class.

Pleasant two night break.

Pros: It’s a lovely building, decorated tastefully, great location, friendly staff and have dog friendly rooms.

Cons: Overpriced for what we got. Lacked the finer details to justify the room rate we paid. Hooks in the hallway of our room to hang coats would have been a good addition, nowhere to hang wet coats other than in the wardrobe.

A lovely, welcoming and a unique place to stay.

Pros: Fantastic breakfast. Staff were lovely. Rooms were spacious.

Cons: It’s a grade 2 listed building so expect some noise from other rooms, downstairs and outside.

Wonderful hotel, we’ll be back.

Pros: We stayed here some years ago and decided to have a night in December. As before, the hotel is beautifully decorated. The rooms are gorgeous - clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are polite and friendly and the food is fantastic. We’ll be staying here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Loved how intimate it was, the staff were very attentive and it was brilliant. The gorgeous building and decor definitely added to the cosy feel of the place too.

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like :)
