We were stopping for one night two sisters together to meet up with another sister in Thirsk

Pros: We found the property a great place to stop at rooms were great staff friendly breakfast was delicious

Lively and friendly

Pros: Lovely staff. Really kind and helpful. Great location, right in the heart of town. Parking too! Food was great, and the service excellent. Room was on small side, but comfy and clean, with a good shower.

Cons: Windows didn't open in the room (painted shut)

Lovely relaxing stay in a great location.

Pros: Large, comfortable room with an interesting view of the town from the seating area. All staff were friendly and professional, with high standards. Excellent food and restaurant service. Very convenient location and good parking facilities.

Cons: Shower curtain too short so would not stay in position. TV had only a few channels available without streaming. Three different prices for the same breakfast were advertised in different places, and Sunday lunch menu was confusing, as it seemed to say that only a roast was available, but this was clarified by staff and in fact we could order from the full menu.

Excellent stay in Thirsk

Pros: The,location was great. The hotel was very well situated in the market town and had its own parking area too. We received a very warm welcome. Our room was delightful, lots of lovely touches such as the DAB radio, coffee maker and both reading books and games. We ate at the hotel, and choices were good. Superb.

Great overall stay good location, good food and drink and staff. One room had a stinky bathroom

Pros: Location and staff brilliant. Food good but wierdly no steak on the menu.

Cons: Twin room bathroom was very stinky, wasnt a cleaning issue more like a plumbing or drain issue

Nice hotel, great breakfast.

Pros: Great location in the centre of Thirsk. Hotel decor to a high standard. Staff very friendly and breakfast was excellent with a good selection of hot options. Large car park + parking in the street outside the hotel - free overnight until 8am

Cons: Only slight issue for me was the annexed bedrooms - access to the rear through the car park - not so good in bad weather.
