Pros: Warm embrace feeling. Some small chat coffee rooms as well as a bar and restaurants.

Cons: Finding the carpark enteranc6.

Pros: * Everything was perfect from check in to departure. * We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was out of this world - the biggest comfortable bed and seating area with sofa etc. The bathroom was clean, lovely powerful hot shower over bath and complimentary toiletries. Tea / coffee / biscuits *Lots of different areas to sit and relax around the hotel, with comfortable sofas. Perfect for playing games after dinner. * Pool sauna steam room perfect, very clean. * Breakfast and evening meal delicious. Really inviting bar/restaurant. * Every member of staff was really friendly and could not have done enough for us. * Plenty of parking * Hotel Manager Emma was an absolute gem ❤️

Pros: Lovely old property with a modern feel inside. Beautiful rooms, very nicely decorated. Bathrooms could maybe do with an update but the place is very clean and comfortable. Staff were all so friendly and very helpful especially Emma and Rachael. It was our first visit but it definitely will not be our last. Thank you ladies for a lovely stay! Pool area is lovely also and a great advantage point, my daughter and niece had a great time.

Pros: As I was travelling alone, the staff were the epitome of Yorkshire friendliness. Accomodation was comfortable, a great ambience. Loves the jigsaw puzzle area which created a natural conversation.

Cons: Unfortunately as it was very busy I was unable to park in the secure car park - which I thought was a given, and had to park on the roadside.

The Crown in Boroughbridge is beautiful old coaching inn packed with great staff!

Pros: The bedroom was very comfortable and had beautiful furniture and artwork. Breakfast and dinner were both superb, the food is always excellent at The Crown. Special mention to all members of the staff....Emma, Rachael and co are great hosts and ensure everything is done to ensure a friendly and relaxing stay. The leisure club is a fantastic bonus too....and the staff there are also very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Nothing to dislike at all.

Perfect place to stay to break a long journey down the A1.

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, secure off road parking, proximity to the A1 and the historical interest of the venue.

Cons: Arriving in the evening, coming in from the car park, it wasn’t straightforward to find someone to check me in.

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable and warm.

Pros: It’s very central, it’s clean, comfortable, and the staff are very helpful.

Cons: I would have preferred a walk in shower than a shower over the bath, we both struggled to get in and out of the shower. The food was ok, but nothing special.

Pros: The room was good and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good and service staff efficient.

Cons: Plumbing in the bathroom needs attention. The lavatory didn't stop flushing completely. The grouting on the tiles around the bath had become discoloured. This looks unpleasant.

Pros: In the centre so great location to explore the town. Great base to explore North Yorkshire. Hotel clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Pros: Location is great, rooms dated but, very clean. Staff absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful.

Cons: We had booked the valentines weekend without realising it and we couldn’t eat in the restaurant as it was fully booked.
