Plum and Partridge Husthwaite

Pros: Warm friendly atmosphere with good food in a lovely venue. Beautiful bedroom and smart bathroom. Compact but very well decorated and extremely clean.

Cons: To be honest nothing to say - nothing detracted from an excellent stay.

Pleasant stay in a great location with excellent food and service

Pros: We had a great one night stay in this lovely cosy country pub. Everything was clean and well presented to a high standard. The staff were really friendly and very accommodating. We had an evening meal which was excellent, including the crab and prawn linguine and a delicious steak sandwich. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. The breakfast was exceptional, we both had a full English (best black pudding ever!) but there were plenty of other options available both hot and cold. Thank you to Louise for making our stay nice and for the lad who served us breakfast we had such a good stay. The parking was also good, plenty of spaces to the rear of the pub. Would highly recommend!

Cons: Although this may be the norm now, we felt the drink prices were a bit high.

Pleasant location

Pros: Pleasant village location not far from A19. Helpful staff. Comfortable warm well equipped bedroom.

Cons: Adequate menu, but a little on the pricey side for a pub with rooms.

Pros: Great location with a lovely feel about the place. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.

Cons: Room number 1, whilst very clean and comfortable, was a little cramped to be honest. This took the edge off my visit. I've stayed here previously and the room then was very spacious. What I found a little frustrating was that I'd made the booking in March, ie 8 or 9 months ago. In other words it was not last minute, which I could have understood.

Amazing short break.

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was amazing. Only small complaints were the shower temperature was hard to adjust and the tv was slow to respond to the remote control.

Ab Fab stay at the Plum and Partridge

Pros: We had a lovely relaxing stay at The Plum and Partridge. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfy. The restaurant has a fab atmosphere, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious.

Cons: We would have liked to stay for longer.
