Great room, great bathroom, great value for money.

Pros: Clean bedroom, clean bathroom, friendly staff, good value for money.

Cons: Stay was really pleasant and staff were very helpful upon check in. The only thing I couldn’t find where the used towel basket was - only a minor thing and did not affect how I enjoyed the stay at all 😊

I find staying at pubs who affer accomadations can be hit or miss, this place was definitely a hit.

Pros: Great spot for an overnighter in Halifax! The staff are wonderful and very helpful. You can walk to any of the attractions and restaurants. Despite being above the pub, I never really noticed the noise, and what little there is ends promptly at closing time. They put a lot of effort into the renovations for the rooms, its quite clean and comfy.

Cons: No complaints.

Cosy, comfy, and more than worth the money

Pros: Room was lovely 😍 staff were lovely we stayed new years eve after getting ready we went to the bar down stairs and were welcomed. Beds were super comfy and exceptionally clean we couldn't have asked for anything more from our stay

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like

Night out in Halifax

Pros: The location was central and close to all attractions.

Cons: The room was cold,the central heating was on a timer.

Our weekend retreat

Pros: Everything, lovely friendly pub . The landlady and staff are amazing. Excellent value for money. The room is immaculate, clean and comfortable.

Cons: There is nothing not to like.

Pros: The room looked beautiful, the view was lovely, staff were so nice and polite. Honestly one of the best places me and my partner have stayed at!

Cons: Only thing we weren't keen on was the church bells but that can't be helped.

Had a great time in the bar with the regulars. Room was good and all very clean.

Pros: Great historical real ale pub with a very welcoming g landlady. So close to all the main attractions in Halifax and right next to the railway station and Eureka.

I was visiting Halifax to go to a Super Saturday at Westgate. Beautiful town lovely people

Pros: Staff friendly and helpful Right next to the piece hall venue Brilliant DJ Great outdoor seating Rooms nicely decorated and beds super comfortable

Cons: Nothing we didn't like we would definitely stay again
