Bootham Court Grade II duplex apartment with free parking & Wi-Fi - sleeps 2-6 people

Relaxing, quiet stay with allocated parking and everything required for the stay

Pros: Apartment was very clean and tidy. Everything needed for the stay, location was perfect as it is close to the Minister. Bonus with the free parking space allocated. Keys in lockbox so arrive at your convenience. Two floors, two bathrooms, very quiet in the apartment. WiFi was great, coffee machine available. Andy checked in frequently to check everything was good. Had a great weekend.

Pros: Apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom on both levels with good quality products provided. 5 minute walk to York Minster, parking space was an added bonus. Andy was great from booking last year to leaving, communication great. Brilliant information pack for anyone who doesn’t know the area, 2 minute walk to supermarket.

Cons: Not an issue for us but if any mobility issues the stairs could be a problem

Fab location & parking - a lovely little spot!

Pros: The communication was excellent, the owner was flexible, and the location was excellent for a short walk to the town centre, museum gardens and minutes walk from the station too. The allocated parking was a huge bonus. The layout was quirky and gave each couple private space/facilities. Lovely kitchen area and bathrooms, well-equipped. You can see the owners have put thought and effort into the facilities, furnishings etc. Overall a great place - particularly for a short break. I'm from York, so know the area well. Good value for money.

Cons: The twin bed mattresses could be improved - but I slept ok during a three-night stay. The property is more compact than expected. Communal entrance could do with a coat of paint - doesn't give the best first impression, but not within the owner's control I'm sure. Don't be put off :)

Pros: Excellent location within easy walking distance of the city centre. Well equipped and comfortable. Host was very friendly and communicative.

Pros: Very comfortable and well equipped apartment. In an excellent location - an easy 10 minutes or so walk from the railway station and the same for the city centre around the Minster. Options for eating in various restaurants nearby as well as a small local convenience store for obtaining provisions.

Great time, great apartment and host.

Pros: A great apartment in a prime location, just 5 to 10 minutes walk to the centre of York. Our host could not have done enough to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable.

Pros: Fantastic location, it’s only a short walk from the train station and the city centre. Lots of great pubs and places to eat close by too. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We really liked that there were 2 floors, the bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
