Abbotts Mews Apartment York City Centre

Lovely, comfy wee apartment.

Pros: Good location, close to centre and train. Clean and comfy with everything you need.

Just great!

Pros: This our third stay at Abbotts Mews and once again everything was just great. Fabulous location with a short walk into the centre (feeding the squirrals on the way, via the museum gardens). The apartment was spotless and cozy once we put the heating on and Lorraine is just a phone call away for any problems. The shower was hot and the bed comfy and the kitchen well equiped in case you want to cook yourself. There are convenience stores, pubs and restaurants just at the top of the street but try the Minster Inn for fantastic pizzas, which goes down very well with a glass of their lovery Shiraz. Thank you once again Lorraine. We'll be back!

Pros: Great location parking facing the apartment 10 minutes walk in to york the owners have thought of everything so would or my need

Cons: It wasn't the warmest place I've stayed but saying that it was December plus it is a large room but the heating wasn't adequate due the the living room size

Everything you need in a convenient location

Pros: A fantastic place to stay. An easy walk from the train station and into town. An ideal base for all that York offers. The apartment has all you need. A comfortable bed in a large room with 2 sofas. There is a separate fully equipped kitchen on a mezzanine level. The separate toilet and shower add to the convenience. Shower has good heat and temperature control with height adjustment. There are 2 washing machines and one dryer in a shared laundry room. Communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommended

Cons: There was an unpleasant smell on arrival (wet dog perhaps) but it cleared with a bit of airing. The freezer door was broken by a previous guest but still usable with care so no problem. If freezer access is critical check with the host directly.

Comfy and Christmassey

Pros: Such a quick and easy checking in place. Brilliant location, around a 10 minute walk to the centre. Parking on your doorstep. Beautiful clean apartment

Lovely little short stay property

Pros: Clean and comfortable easy access to car park (but parking was expensive) close to all central amenities

Cons: Suited us however the apartment has no bedroom the bed was in the living quarters however I was aware of that when I booked - no storage-chest in hall but had quite a bit of stuff in it and in bathroom under sink cleaning products same in mirrored cabinet in toilet

Pros: This was our second stay here, and it's a perfect location for exploring York. The flat is warm and comfortable, great facilities. We'll definitely be back.
