Pros: Room was spotless and absolutely gorgeous. The hosts were some of the best I’ve ever encountered, so warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.

Cons: The only thing I could suggest would be that I’d prefer a little more choice for vegetarians.

Exceptional stay

Pros: Millbank Arms is exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable, the food and drink was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and attentive, especially James who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

A fab night away in a lovely setting with a great room, great food and a wonderful host.

Pros: The property is a lovely old building and the bar area was fab with a lovely open fire. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable with plenty of room and an amazing shower. Dinner and breakfast were lovely with plenty of choice.

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like about the property. The only small detail to mention is that the room we were in didn't have a plug socket near the kettle or the mirror so I had to move the kettle to the floor to boil it and I couldn't see when I was drying my hair. As I say, very minor details and certainly did not spoil our stay.

A hidden gem of an Inn. We will certainly be back.

Pros: Warm welcome. Traditional pub atmosphere. Very comfortable room. Amazing food. Extremely good value for the quality and service.

Cons: Nothing, we couldn’t think of anything negative about it.

Pros: Friendly, accommodating staff , very attentive. Food was to a very good standard. A comfortable and cosy stay.

Lovely stay and fantastic room

Pros: The room was gorgeous and absolutely spotless. The bed was so comfy and we had a great nights sleep. The pub itself is so cosy and the staff lovely - we especially loved the housekeeper she was so friendly and gave us some recommendations for walks in Richmond. Delicious breakfast too.

Cons: The only small comment was that the shower in our room was not the easiest to use as it did not have a hook so you had to hold it over your head.

The most perfect stay, thank you

Pros: The Milbank Arms has all the comforts of a quaint cosy pub hotel wrapped up into what should be on the Conde Nast traveller map. Beautiful interiors, excellent food and an incredibly kind and attentive team. The Milbank Arms feels like a home from home where nothing is too much of a bother. So good we stayed our return road trip. We’re only sad we live in London otherwise we’d be back more often!

Great rooms, excellent food

Pros: Lovely rural location, with a well-appointed room, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was really good, and the owners helped us plot out an interesting walk afterwards.

Cons: Disappointed to realise that the fireplace in the room was simply for decoration.
