Acorn Lodge Harrogate

Perfect Spot for a Weekend in Harrogate for Friends or Family.

Pros: Karen the host was so easy to contact prior to our arrival and gave an extremely comprehensive welcome letter with all the information. The keys were in a lock box next to the front door. There are 7 double bedrooms 6 are en- suite with the final bedroom having a bathroom across the landing. It was perfect for us. There is parking for 2 cars on the drive and then the others all easily parked outside on the road and Karen provides permits throughout the stay. There were 11 of us and more than enough chairs around the large dining table. We self catered both Friday Night and Saturday Morning, the kitchen facilities were excellent, with everything you could need to cook and serve a full English. There were also a great selection of glasses for all types of drinks. The house is 8 minutes easy walk into the centre of Harrogate to the restaurants and bars. A perfect location.

Pros: We visited as a group of 12 visiting the Christmas markets and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The location was excellent, within walking distance of all shops and amenities. The accommodation itself was spotless. Karen, the host, couldn’t do enough for us. The communication was clear and prompt. The hamper and goodies left for us to enjoy was a lovely touch.

Perfect for a family gathering

Pros: The location to the centre was perfect. The bedrooms were well lovely and had en-suites or own bathroom. The kitchen had plenty of equipment. There was nearby areas to walk our dogs. The welcome pack was unexpected, but a lovely touch. Just what we needed on our arrival. There was enough parking for 2/3 cars on the drive dependent on size. The permits for street parking were perfect. An enjoyable stay.

Cons: It is a minor thing - The lounge was a bit of a squeeze for 12 people - but it is rare you have this many people in one room. The dining room fitted us easily.

Excellent House close to the centre of Harrogate, with great facilities, and quiet road.

Pros: Comfortable rooms. Excellent communal areas Well equipped kitchen Lovely hamper

Cons: Towel driers would have been useful. Problems with hot water if everyone using the shower or baths.

Perfect house for our group of girls, we loved it

Pros: Lovely house with everything we needed. The location was really good. Karen was very good with her communication and information. Would definitely recommend this property. We had a great stay.

Comfortable & Convenient

Pros: Great location, we stayed at Acorn Lodge while exhibiting at the Yorkshire Show which is only a 10 minute drive away. Lots of rooms, bathrooms, plenty of space and so close to where we needed to go. A big ASDA only 3 minute drive away made life even easier. Everything we needed was provided including hangers and a hairdryer in the bedroom.

Pros: We have just returned from a perfect hen do weekend. The house is stunning and ideal for a large group of 11 with everything you could possibly need. Parking was a real bonus. We arrived to a lovely welcome hamper and the house was spotless 🤩 Karen's communication was excellent throughout and nothing was too much trouble. The perfect host, thank you! The property is in an ideal location and only a short walk into Harrogate to a lovely park, great bars and restaurants. All the bedrooms are en suite with very comfy beds. All rooms were beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. Desperately thinking of an occasion to return, thank you from all of us for a fabulous weekend 🤗 x

Pros: I stayed at Acorn Lodge as a group of 10 for a hen do, it exceeded all of our expectations. Throughout Karen’s communication was excellent, the welcome hamper was very generous. The house was clean and comfortable and we all enjoyed the stay. The location was perfect, just a 10 minute walk into Harrogate where we enjoyed Betty’s and The Ivy. Thank you so much Karen, if I travel in a large group again this is where I’d stay.

Amazing property, very comfortable, immaculately presented in a great location

Pros: Immaculately presented, very comfortable, spacious and in brilliant location. Having onsite parking for three cars is a big plus. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch.

Pros: Great communication from the host, as well as a wonderful welcome basket on arrival and all amenities we needed provided. The house was clean and comfortable and is a great location, only ~8 mins walk into Harrogate centre.
