Delightful stay in cosy room with fabulous hosts

Pros: A charming little room next to a cosy pub with super friendly and helpful hosts. Staff were kind and accommodating and just so lovely. We just stopped over for a night whilst travelling and it was perfect. Clean, comfortable room with everything we needed- would highly recommend

Pros: The Swan was perfect for us breaking our journey from London. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and the atmosphere of the Inn was exceptional. The dinner was just what we were after and the breakfast the next day was perfect.

FABULOUS! I wish I could have stayed longer

Pros: Everything was fantastic! The Swan is located in a beautiful little village, which is lovely to walk around. The hotel is fantastic. The rooms were clean, comfortable and all of the services provided were more than expected. The staff were so accommodating and the food superb! Beyond expectations! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pros: Very good for breakfast and evening meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. You just had to remember to watch out for the low beams.

Cons: The location meant that there was a bit of traffic noise, but this abated late evening and night.

Comfortable accommodation with great food

Pros: A warm, friendly welcome from helpful staff set the tone for our one night stay. We had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning and the food was excellent. A good choice and plentiful at reasonable prices. The young serving staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The only, minor, downside was that the car park is small so we had to park down the road but we found somewhere in the end.

Cons: A larger car park, but we understand that is impossible at such an old building in a village with narrow one-way streets.

Cons: Not a lot of parking for guests but plenty of on street parking so should not deter anyone from staying

Pros: Great breakfast, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs were delicious.

Cons: Our room was lovely and comfortable, spacious and airy. The bathroom had everything you would need with some really nice toiletries and big white towels.

Pros: Great location for us and the staff were very helpful, even allowing us to get into our rooms early to prepare for a wedding
