The Cottage

Nice break with mum to visit her sister

Pros: Was cosy and comfortable clean tidy had all you need we had a nice stay

Cons: Another property in same plot if it was being used privacy could be a issue but we didn’t see anyone on our visit Parking is ok if you have a small car On a busy road but we didn’t get disturbed by traffic once in the property you would not know it 🤗

Comfy and pleasant stay.

Pros: Comfy place, clean, close to park and ride and other facilities.

Great stay

Pros: Good location, accommodation comfortable, No complaints

Lovely, homely English cottage, felt right at home!

Pros: Very comfortable stay, cottage had a great English feel with lovely touches from the hosts.

Cons: Small shower

Recommended Retreat

Pros: Very, very clean, warm and well equipped. Good quality bedding. Open fields at rear with ample outdoor space. A quiet , comfortable and private retreat. Tesco superstore 3 minutes away! Short drive/ bus ride into York.

Cons: Rather strong odour from wardrobe in smaller bedroom. Furniture is dated but clean and practical. Not suitable for wheelchair users. A Little PRICIER THAN AVERAGE but home from home feel and privacy.

Comfortable cottage with easy access to visit Leeds, York & North Yorkshire.

Pros: Central to the places we wanted to visit The. Cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed for a stay. The beds were very comfortable and although the cottage is on a busy road you don't hear much noise

Cons: The cottage furniture is a bit tired. The bathroom is a good size but has a tiny shower, difficult to get into if you're oversized or have mobility issues, we had to ask for a mat in the shower as the floor was very slippery. We also had to ask for clean sheets and towels, as we stayed two for weeks, this is unusual, as most stays a few days to a week,so the property agent didn't think we would need clean sheets and towels . They did provide them eventually. We were not able to sit outside due to the weather but it is mostly concrete with a cesspit in the middle!

Perfect stay!!!

Pros: Property had a cottage feel to it but could be more modernised, but perfect for the older audience :) 10/10 will be back if I end up needing somewhere to Stay again!

Cons: Needs to be More modern, bigger telly, more modern furniture other than that it was perfect.

It was great

Pros: Close to a great breakfast sitting outside views were fantastic loved everything

Would recommend

Pros: Amazing view from house - huge fields behind house. Kitchen well-equipped (has washer and dryer) although some of the equipment was a bit old. House feels very homey and cosy; spacious as well - can easily fit four people. Would recommend this place.

Cons: Driving in and out of the estate is difficult because there is a bend on the road, blocking view. House would benefit from a little bit of modernisation, although not a deal breaker.

Bardzo udany wyjazd. Pobyt w obiekcie spełnił swoje zadanie i nasze oczekiwania.

Wygodne meble. Kuchnia bardzo dobrze wyposażona. Cisza i spokój. Pobliska droga zupełnie nie przeszkadza.

Cons: Zapach w szafach trochę nieprzyjemny.
