The Heritage Hideaway - King bed

Fantastic stay with a great location and excellent parking. Location was warm and well presented.

Pros: We where sent the code for the keys in advance and access to the property was simple and easy.

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Pros: Lovely property, nice design features and clean. Hosts were very accommodating and were very quick to respond to messages. They provided a cot, mattress and sheets for our toddler. Complimentary coffee pods were a lovely touch, as was the Christmas tree, so thoughtful. It was great to have free street parking and such a short bus ride in to town.

Cons: We were happy with everything.

Pros: This house feels like home. ❤️🩷💙🧡 It’s like a 5-star hotel set up. My husband and my parents keep on telling me how great to have stayed at this house. Thank you very much, host. The whole house, the venue, the neighbourhood, we loved it! There’s a Sainsbury Local nearby! Love!

Perfect stay in York

Pros: The property was spotless clean, a home from home feeling with everything you need in a home, very stylish too. The property had parking on site which was a bonus for us as travelled with two young kids. We didn’t walk to center, drove there and parked in the center (12 min drive). There is a Sainsbury’s very close to the property. The owner was ready to answer any questions I had. Very prompt with the replies and always ready to help with anything we needed. I wish I had stayed longer. It was a last min decision to visit beautiful York but will definitely come back again. Thank you

Cons: This may not affect everyone however, the toilet is downstairs. If you need to visit the loo middle of the night you need to go downstairs. For those with mobility issues this may not be a great option. Maybe worth to be mentioned in the description (unless it was and I didn’t read it- apologies in advance). To us this was not a problem at all, in contrary my boys found it cool and were very happy to go up and down the stairs.

A home from home

Pros: The property is beautifully presented and impeccably clean with everything you need for a home from home. The location is ideal for anyone visiting York as it has free on street parking and is only a short walk from York centre.
