A spacious, comfortable house.

Pros: A large, comfortable house that was perfect for our needs for one night in town. It's in a standard, residential area but the Sainbury's on the corner was useful and there was a nice cafe too.

Pros: I highly recommend this Airbnb. The location is great—just a 25-minute walk from the city center, and considering how beautiful the city is, the walk is definitely worth it. We were a group of five, and everything was very clean. The place was well-equipped with coffee, water, and the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hot water, and a working central heater (which is a big plus for me, especially after some bad experiences with other Airbnbs where the heating didn’t work and we were cold, unable to shower because there was no hot water). Lovely stay, ideal for a York overnighter without the city centre price tag

Pros: Lovely house overall - bedrooms were a great size, all 3 had double beds in and plenty of space for luggage etc. Location was good, a Sainsbury’s local on the corner and a 6 min Uber to the centre of York. Would probably be in walking distance but we didn’t walk due to the weather. Clean throughout, bedding and towels clean and fresh. Essentials like tea / coffee / toilet rolls provided. Hosts checked in with us mid-stay which was appreciated. Check in / out info came through in plenty of time with clear instructions.

Cons: The kettle was in desperate need of de-scaling, so much so that we decided against using it which was a shame. When we arrived, the house was really really cold. We turned the thermostat up to 25 from less than 10 but then realised 20 mins later that all the radiators had been turned off as well so we had to go round turning them on. It took ages for the house to warm up. In colder weather, it would be better for the radiators to be left on and the thermostat set to min 15 in preparation for guests checking in.

Pros: It was so clean! Very modern and cozy, plenty of space, showroom bathroom and overall pleasant place to be

Lovely house for family stay

Pros: lovely clean house. A short bus ride to the centre of York. ideal for our trip. modern basic facilities.

Cons: Could have done with a bigger bed and they never had wine glasses or measuring jug.

Very enjoyable and ideal for our visit to the races. Would definitely use this property again.

Pros: The property was very convenient with ample on street parking. Also, the interaction with the host both prior to and after our stay was superb.

Cons: The property was exactly as decribed. So there were no issues at all.

Comfortable house in good location

Pros: Didn't meet the hosts, but they were very welcoming and kept in touch and sent useful instructions and information. Good to have free parking available in the street. House was clean and comfortable, and the neighbourhood seemed to be quiet.
