Pros: The wine and coffee basket was a nice touch. Location to city centre was close - 10 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable and enjoying stay perfect for our needs

Pros: Location was perfect easy access to the town centre didn't need to use the car at all.

Pros: Perfect size for 3 friends. Good location walkable into York and if not cheap to uber back. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Host was extremely accommodating and esay to contact and responded quickly.

Cons: Stairs are steep and narrow, no baring on host its a cottage style property just wouldn't necessarily be suitable for anyone less able

Lovely stay in a clean lovely presented home

Pros: House was comfortable and nicely decorated with all the amenities you would need, in a very quiet location . It has local shops nearby and the main city of York a 15min walk away.

Cons: Needed some direction on what they expected us to do before check out time, especially with the rubbish.

Great place for a great city

Pros: Lovely little house, very comfortable, clean, quiet and good location for getting into York. We had a lovely stay.

Cons: Only small gripes. The access to the location and the parking was a little troublesome. When we did take the car to go further abroad than York we sometimes struggled to navigate between the cars parked on the streets leading to and from the property, nearly clipped a few wing mirrors. And on a couple of occasions we could not park outside the property due to the neighbours cars taking all the spaces (sometimes parking in the middle where two cars could easily fit). But I appreciate that these aren't issues with the property and probably can't be remedied. A freezer might also be useful for some guests. And we struggled to get the internet to work reliably on the TV, but we had a backup for that we brought ourselves. Also perhaps a note somewhere about where to put rubbish as we weren't sure where to put the non-recyclable stuff. And the auto light on the landing is a bit faulty, it flickered all through the first night so we just switched it off completely.

We have had a very good time thank you.

Pros: Quiet and away from the city centre but just a short walk away.

Cons: Everything was just what we wanted.

Pros: Clean , 10 minute walk to York , Scunthorpe was only 1 hour away , nice welcome pack , good communication

Cons: Heating was on timer so there was a period where the house got cold , other than that nothing

Pros: We really enjoyed staying in the little cottage. It was just right for 4 people and had everything we needed for our stay. Well located and all the local shops we needed.

Cons: The stairs were a bit challenging for my 90 year old mother-in-law.

A very pleasant short stay.

Pros: Cosy and quiet property, lovely 'welcome pack' on entry, comfortable beds.

Cons: The staircase might be a problem for the less mobile, but we managed without a problem.

Would definitely recommend this house if visiting York

Cons: Sofas could have been better. Quite small and not for relaxing after a busy day
