Very enjoyable

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that slippers or flip-flops were not available for the size of my husbands feet and therfore did not join me in the Spar. The extra charge to use the outside facilities was not necessary and should be included in the stay. The food was excellent as was the accommodation.

Excellent short break stay, I don't golf but the hotel stands up on its own

Pros: Supper dinner, good food, bit expensive vino kicks of at about £35. Staff were excellent too.

Cons: Our room ( dull weather) was too dark one velux & low lighting. Ok at either end, but actually dark in the middle.

A superb, relaxed weekend away.

Pros: The atmosphere, setting, staff, food and spa were all fantastic.

Cons: When we moved from the bar to the restaurant we had to carry our own drinks and wine cooler. The staff were very busy.

A perfect hotel for a short break. We will definitely go back once the upgrade is complete.

Pros: A lovely location with walks from the front door. It has an excellent spa.

Cons: There was construction work taking place which limited our dining experience.

Relaxing weekend will definitely return

Pros: Our Aldwark Manor experience was such a charming characterful delight. The staff were very attentive going that extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and well fed, the breakfasts were beautiful and the evening meal was delicious.

Cons: The building is going through a refit in part which didn't effect our stay but restricted us enjoying the grounds and walks. But understandable as improvements are necessary.
