The Old Post Office Public House & Hotel

The old post office Halifax, lovely town, lovely people

Pros: There was a leak from the ceiling into the bedroom in the room I was staying in it wasn't the landlady's fault it is an old building things happen, it was slightly cold for me but my son and partner said it was warm enough for them. It's clean and tidy, the landlady and cleaner are lovely. Couldn't hear any noise from the pub downstairs slept like babies 🤗 💯 would recommend and stay here again.

Cons: Other than the dripping rain onto the bed it was a good hotel can't fault it. It's an old building there's always going to be something. I didn't mind it, I just doubled up with my partner so I was fine. Nice quaint hotel and it was a post office so plenty of back story if you like that sort of thing.

Pros: Close to the town centre football stadium and Piece Hall

Cons: Everything was good

Fab Pub in great Central location

Pros: Lovely Hotel, Jackie very friendly and made to feel very welcome

Cons: No food on site, would have been great if breakfast available

Perfect location for a night in Halifax!

Pros: Location is perfect for the town centre or Peace Hall. Staff were very welcoming. Check in early which was great for us. Room was clean and spacious.

Cons: Bed a bit tight round edges. Basic room but perfectly adequate for the price.

Pros: Stayed here many times now. Ideally placed for Halifax town centre, just across the road from the Piece Hall. Always friendly staff.

Cons: Need to be careful with the sloping ceilings in the top floor rooms as a six foot tall man.

Enjoyable stay at an old inn

Pros: Nice hotel with a good bar below. Clean, comfortable room and a great breakfast. Well located on the edge of the town, only a few minutes walk from the city centre.

Cons: Great to be able to store bikes in the room, however a bit awkward getting them up to our floor in the lift - but a relatively minor issue.

Very friendly staff, clean room, parking tight so get there early. I would recommend and use again.

Pros: All very good,staff were extremely helpful ,went out of their way to sort parking out as parking space is quite tight. I wasn’t due to book in until 1500hrs. But the room was ready so the girl took me to the room.

Cons: It was what I expected,I got what I paid for,no issues.

Fun little break away

Pros: Lovely little pub underneath the rooms, homely . The staff couldn’t do enough .

Cons: Nothing I disliked , will be back

Pros: I travelled for a concert at Piece Hall, which is within 5min walking distance. Room was clean, reasonably sized, bed was comfy.

Cons: Hot water in the shower didn’t work

Pros: Great little place comfortable and in a great location
