Pros: Superb service by friendly helpful staff. Immaculately clean

Pros: Staff were efficient and very supportive . excellent humour coupled with prompt service provided a exceptional atmosphere

Cons: Some attention was required with lighting regarding stairways which could be considered a safety hazard

Pros: Very good vegan options on the dinner menu which included proper puddings (not just sorbet or fruit) and good options at breakfast. Very pleasant ambience in the pub/restaurant

Pros: Comfy and well appointed rooms, excellent breakfast and great restaurant for dinner. The staff were outstanding and made us feel very welcome.

Cons: Icy car park, complete with sliding delivery lorry!

If we were in Halifax area again we would look to stay at the Shibden Mill Inn.

Pros: We booked on the day and were so pleased we could be accommodated. Room was not large but perfectly fine for our stay, enough for bags etc. staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Explained everything we needed to know. A lovely chocolate brownie left for each of us in the room complements of the breakfast chef. Breakfast include included in the price was varied to accommodate most needs I’m sure.

Cons: The heating was too high and we couldn’t figure out how to turn down. The staff would have been happy to help I’m sure but we just cracked window open a touch instead.

Pros: Liked short weekend away love the country side walks fantastic hotel staff very friendly & helpful we will be back Also food amazing in the evening chillin out & relaxin met some amazin local people in the bar XxRegards Karen & John Xx😁😁

Pros: Lovely old building full of cosy areas and open fires, we stayed in room 3 on the ground floor, which had that cottage feel to it with its own little private garden area, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower a joy to use, the towel rail always hot , tea & coffee equipment was top quality and the welcome pack of cookies a lovey treat, with a vintage radio playing relaxing music on our arrival are our long drive was a nice touch too, the breakfast choice and quality was to die for, and the evening meals definitely 5 Star

Cons: Clutching at straws the wardrobe space in Room 3 could of been better, although that said there was plenty of additional draw space

We liked it so much we stayed an extra night.

Pros: Comfy, cosy, clean, fabulous staff, incredible food.

Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike.
