The White Swan Hotel

Pros: Room was good value for money and the location was very good.

Cons: Cold water didn't work in bathroom washbasin (although I didn't realise this until morning of check-out). Fault was reported when checking out, so hopefully will be fixed before next visitor uses room

Pros: Friendly staff , comfortable rooms , easy to find location

Cons: Look dated

Stay in the centre of Halifax

Pros: Great central location! Nice heritage building. Very friendly staff.

Cons: The room really needs a refurbishment. The sofa for a child was not comfortable at all, and I’ve found a nail on it. Mattress is too soft.

Pros: It was very central to the town . I used to always stay there before Covid and the war in Ukraine. It was closed to the public for the last few years. It’s great that it back open again

Cons: No breakfast service yet . It used to be a great breakfast before

Hidden gem!! Boutique on a budget

Pros: I can’t believe how amazing the White Swan was for the price!! The bathroom was huge with an amazing shower. The bed was super comfy and soft and the whole building was stunning. The staff were super friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. I plan to stay again later on in the year :)

Cons: My only slight issue was that even with the window closed, I could still hear outside noises really clearly and loud

Pros: Good central location and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely use the hotel again if I'm in Halifax.

Pros: Size of the room was perfect, good location, the main room and bathroom were clean and tidy so very happy with everything!

Cons: For a while the heating wasn't working but after going out for a couple hours and coming back it was on so assuming it was broken but wasn't given a heads up.

Great location. Great price. Hotel room clean, had all facilities.

Pros: Comfortable bed. Nice and clean. All facilities, kettle, tea and coffee, shower and bath bottles. Clean towels and bedding. TV. Hot water. Good location and great for the price for overnight stay.

Cons: The radiator was lukewarm in the room and it is winter time with a very cold temperature so the room had a slight chill until I got into bed. Best wearing my thick cardigan to walk around.

Pros: Looks very clean , the gentleman on reception was lovely and even gave me a later check out ! Thank you for our stay we will be back :)
