Leeds Marriott Hotel

Great value, great location and excellent service.

Pros: The location was perfect for our requirements as we were travelling by train, so the proximity to the central Station was important. We were attending an event in the City Centre, so this also worked well for that. For such a central location, the hotel provides exceedingly quiet accommodation. Room was very comfortable and cost effective.

Convenient stay with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed it and it was a good base for us.

Pros: We were able to check in a little bit early, which we appreciated. The location in the centre of Leeds was very convenient, as was the parking being close to hand. We enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly at all times.

Cons: No big problems, but could have a more powerful shower. Feels as though the rooms could do with a little refresh in terms of decoration. However, the room was clean and well equipped. Slightly more tea, coffee and milk would be good for two people.

Generally comfortable place to stay

Pros: Large room well equipped Very central in city with good access to station and museums

Cons: Shortage of electric sockets in room

Excellent hotel, very clean and staff are helpful and friendly

Pros: The location is excellent!! I’ve stayed in many hotels all over Leeds City Centre but this one is right bang in the centre of all the action! Very clean and staff are extremely polite!

Cons: The beds are a little hard and could be a little more comfortable. This shouldn’t deter anyone though because it might be me that likes softer bed.

Pros: Brilliant location friendly staff good breakfast definitely stay again value for money

Pros: Really friendly reception staff Spacious room Great bteakfast

Excellent, would only ever stop here if in Leeds.

Pros: Staff were very friendly. Executive lounge is fantastic and well stocked with some excellent food. Breakfast is lovely It just has everything we need and require.

Cons: Only minor things, one is the pillows were too soft for me, be nice if there was an option of a hard pillow. The executive lounge was very busy, there was too many people for how many seats there were. We went half an hour early to get a seat and was only a few left but people who turned up at half 5 couldn't get a seat.

Pros: Generally loved the hotel; great location, great room, clean (the reception smelled really nice!), staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again.

Cons: My only criticism (and it's a small one), is that we had access to the executive lounge, which we enjoyed and would probably book again, but it was very, very busy. We managed to get the last two seats and it was a bit of a feat of acrobatics trying to shuffle around the packed lounge to get drinks etc. perhaps the lounge could be extended in the future on account of its popularity?

Great short break

Pros: Was a wonderful overnight stay we didn’t want to leave

Courteous staff, cleanliness, well-appointed rooms, great breakfast; everything that we value.

Pros: The staff were most helpful and very polite. The suite was well appointed and spacious. Will use the hotel on our next trip.

Cons: The discount at the public car park next door only applied to the 8-24 hour tariff. Should a guest need to use their car during the day, the charges can rapidly escalate. In the bar, nibbles e.g. nuts and crisps, are not available to accompany drinks other than the bar menu.
