Hinsley Hall

Pros: it was cosy, the pantry was open 24/7 and it was clean & good. room was nice & big, toilet was spacious. loved it

Peaceful stay

Pros: A beautiful architectural building, nice and simple decor on the inside, great for what I needed. Great location with shops, restaurants and cafes nearby within walking distance. Lovely staff, breakfast was great too.

Cons: I thought there was going to be an iron and a kettle in the single room I booked as it stated on booking.com, but there was no iron or kettle in the room.

Fourth time I have stayed there but it won't be my last.

Pros: The location is handy for so many areas of Leeds and this part of West Yorkshire. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of options and no limit on what guests can have. The guest kitchenettes are a really good idea. Despite being near a busy round, the whole site is very quiet and tranquil. The price is very good value.

Cons: The selfishness and lack of consideration of some other noisy guests but Hinsley Hall is no different to other hotels in having no control over that. Absurdly nothing about the place itself I dislike.

Hinsley Hall provides perfect accommodation in peaceful surroundings.

Pros: The Hall is set in quiet and pleasant grounds away from traffic and city noise. Rooms always comfortable, staff welcoming, and a wholesome cooked breakfast provided.

Pros: As a budget hotel this place outperforms all expectations, the building is beautiful, set in lovely grounds, with a Fantastic facilities, pubs, restaurants, and the Breakfast, wow! It was fantastic, self service full English, lovely ingredients all done to perfection! Room was spacious. Cleanliness could not be faulted, even the cutlery at breakfast looked polished

Cons: You have to see the place, it's hard to fault, if it was my hotel, I'd spend a little and change an extra £100 a night.. To make it 4 * (or being very critical) the TV in the bedroom was very small, the bathroom was basic, the beach wood hall doors are out of keeping, and carpets should be higher quality.. that's all folks

A wonderful time in Hinsley Hall

Pros: The location, the facilities the staff and the cleanliness. An excellent experience

Cons: When we arrived there was an odour in the bathroom. I guessed what it was. When a room is not used the water in the U bend traps can evaporate and gas from the sewer can pass into the bathroom. A small amount of water run off and the traps fill and stop the gas and hence the smell. I rran the bowl and the shower for 10 seconds and all well. I suggest you ask housekeeping to run the taps in any room unocupied more than a few days.

Perfect. Will definitely see if there is availability when I next need to visit Leeds.

Pros: Clean, tidy, friendly helpful staff, peaceful, perfect location.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. All good.

Second time to stay here and will definitely be back.

Pros: Basic clean accommodation easy reach to city center and close to good bars and restaurants. Great value for money.

Pros: Location brilliant for Headingley for cricket or rugby.

Cons: Room very dated and old fashioned, but clean and bed comfortable.

Comfortable, quiet and convenient location with nice and friendly staff.

Pros: Another wonderful stay at this beautiful and comfortable place. Peaceful night of sleep, nice and warm during these cold times, quiet rooms and a good choice of hot drinks at the small kitchen near my room which is always welcome. The breakfast was excellent and a good choice on offer as usual. Thanks to the staff for a nice welcome too. Definitely a decent place to stay and I hope to return in due course.
