Radisson Blu Hotel

Pros: The staff was very welcoming. The room was spotless and the location was brilliant

Pros: Amazing stay except one thing the bathroom smelt of sewage like there was a bad problem with the drains but everything was brilliant xx

Very good, great hotel, good value and superb location

Pros: Great location, a short walk from the station and minutes away from a selection of restaurants.

Cons: When I arrived there was only 1 person on reception and a queue had formed running from reception desk to the front entrance, at least a dozen people trying to check in. The bar was empty with 2 staff standing doing very little, surely staff should be flexible and sensible enough to move positions to assist where needed.

A lovely visit/ shame it was only for one night- we’ll certainly use again.

Pros: Upgraded to a junior suite- was a lovely gesture & much appreciated. The bed was enormous & the room well furnished. Didn’t pre book breakfast but did partake & enjoyed it.

Cons: Not applicable to hotel but roadworks & signage delayed arrival to pre booked car park.

Lovely room but disabled visitors may have issues.

Pros: Brilliant shower facilities for us both....with some mobility issues these days! Requested a walk in shower and it was far more than we expected.

Cons: For what seems to be a disabled room, could I make a few constructive comments? The position of the tap on the sink makes it very difficult to get the kettle underneath to fill it. The chairs in the room have no arms, and one of them is far too low for people with mobility issues. Getting out of it requires arms to push up on....but the chair itself is too low. The second office type chair is high enough, but again no arms, and very unstable for anyone with the same issues. The lighting in the room is very gentle.....but I could hardly see into the wardrobe. Also, putting the hairdryer on the wardrobe floor is not disabled friendly. It's a nice room....comfortable bed etc, but maybe look at those issues

Nice hotel which certainly lives up to the standard I expect from the Radisson Blu chain.

Pros: Room on 5th floor looked out on the Cathedral and with the windows open it was quiet and with a pleasant breeze. The bed was comfortable and a good size. The shower operated well, although the shampoo for the bath and the hand wash at the sink ran out very quickly. It was a nice touch to find body lotion supplied in the bathroom and two bottles of still water supplied as complimentary. Angelina on reception was very helpful. The hotel is well located and close to a great restaurant called Banyan which I would recommend.

Cons: Many channels on the TV were either not available or not connected.

Pros: Comfortable bed spacious bedroom and good location

Cons: I'm a light sleeper and was given a room facing inside the the light shopping arcade .it was quite noisy outside with shoppers and I'm not normally out to complain but the noise was absorbing the TV when it was on .soninwekt downstairs and asked if I could have a quiet room to which they applied for me no problems so thanks to reception staff I had a great night's sleep
