Warm, comfortable, and right in the centre!

Pros: Location was excellent, small and tidy and comfortable, with everything you'd need for a short stay. We had a horrible experience with different accommodation and these guys were our saviours, so so appreciative and such a significant step up in terms of quality, comfort, provision and location. Michael spoke with us on the phone and ran us through everything, honestly this is what accommodation is supposed to be.

Cons: Pub next door can get a little rowdy in the evening, nothing that the accommodation can do, but be wary if that's bothersome to you. The little hotel milk cartons in the fridge had very much gone off, though we did have our own milk. I think it's likely they haven't been checked/changed, but everything was marvellous. Only suggestion would be maybe chuck up a cover over the chairs in the courtyard, to protect from sun and rain for us 'orrible smokers.

We had a wonderful short break in a wonderful apartment in a wonderful city.

Pros: The property is situated perfectly, very close to York railway station and on edge of the city centre so only short walks away from the main attractions and shops. It is an ideal apartment, comfortable and compact with all that is needed for a relaxing holiday / break. We were delighted with this property.

Cons: The apartment is down a short well lit entry that was a little difficult to find on first arrival - the instructions provided are a little inaccurate and the apartment sign is quite small. It is adjacent to a public house which can be noisy at times - but this always stopped by 11-00pm and did not detract from this property more than very fractionally.

Pros: Very modern apartment and extremely well equipped, car parking to the front (chargeable extra), located within easy walking distance of the city centre.

Cons: I had not received the door entry code upon arrival and when I telephoned the number given it was an answerphone asking who I wanted to speak to but the code was texted a short while after. A minor problem was the touch pad lighting system was labelled incorrectly but all worked just not in the marked order.

Pros: Was great apartment we visit york several times a year and normally stay in hotels not now we going to stay here when we visit york again home from home unit has everything you need and right where you need to be train station 5 minute walk town 5 walk

an easy overnight

Pros: good for an overnight. host was helpful and very accommodating due to my own mistake. a tiny bit out of the centre, but quiet area. had everything we needed for the few hours we were in there.

Cons: low coombed ceiling wasn't suitable for us as we are both over 6ft and the bed was a very small double (again, for our height) which is just unfortunate, one of us ended up on the sofa. a bit too warm.

Thoroughly enjoyable and would defo stay at the apartment again.

Pros: Lovely and compact just what we needed. Very comfortable bed.

Cons: Couldn’t work out the heating
