A wonderful stay, great value for money, highly recommend.

Pros: Lovely little spot, well equipped with everything you’ll need. Really helpful staff, will definitely be returning.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Lovely place very comfortable and clean and close to the town centre just a short drive in the car

Lovely stay for a cosy night away

Pros: A gorgeous little camping property. Really well layered out facilities and they had thought about everything. The pods are really comfortable and warm and even though I was technically in a dog-friendly pod there was absolutely no signs that dogs may have stayed there in the past - very clean and tidy! The bathrooms were a short walk away and were clean, tidy and heated. I stayed by myself and felt very safe.

Perfect little get away

Pros: Was very quite and secluded out of the way. Very close to the park and ride that saved a lot as it’s not cheap to park. Staff were very accommodating and even put a birthday card in the pod for the girlfriend. Only issues where the toilets where blocked on Sunday night / Monday morning

Fantastic place

Pros: No one there at check in, was very easy to check in via email instructions. Beds made up, and comfortable. All facilities we wanted to use were there and were clean. Lovely heated toilet block and showers (could tell no children had been there, bonus). There's a fridge, freezer, toaster and microwave in a hut to use. But you must remember to bring plates/cutlery/pans/camping stove etc. The added bonus of hot water bottles in the cupboard was well thought out. This was my second visit, will definitely go back. For me the biggest bonus is the no children rule.

A lovely experience that we would definitely do again!

Pros: It was a really cosy pod and the bed was super comfy. It warmed up quickly and was a lovely quiet area whilst we were there. Parking was easy and close by and there were several instructions which made everything really clear. The facilities for the bathrooms were great too!

Cons: There was not enough lights in the pod - perhaps a larger lamp would be really helpful.

Stayed 27th dec-30th dec 2025. And in July. Will go back again.

Pros: Compact. Warm. Cosy. Basic, but was nice to be without all mod cons and survive. 🤣. Beautiful surroundings, clean toilets and shower rooms. Bus service to York was great.

Great value for money is a cosy hut.

Pros: Nice location, cute, quiet area. Picturesque. Good heater. Great value for money

Cons: Very early check out (10am) and very late check in (3pm). Not very personable as no staff available and you have to pay for everything, nothing is given not even water in the rooms. It was also incredibly cold to begin with though the heater warmed it reasonably quickly. Toilets aren’t even on the same site, though aren’t too far away and reasonably clean.

Great.
