What a lovely house! Great location, clean and loads of room, we'll definitely return!

Busy city break

Pros: Sizeable property to accommodate our group. Big enough dinning area and lounge. Very convenient to have so many bathrooms and WCs. The bedrooms were of very good size and with comfy beds. The neighbourhood was quiet and tidy.

Cons: Could have been a bit cleaner in areas such as edge of beds, wardrobes etc where a vacuum needs to be adjusted to be able to clean. The pans and kettle could have been cleaner too. The gas hob was a bit difficult to operate.

An enjoyable stay

Pros: The property was central to where we wanted to go with good access to Park and Ride and buses if you did not want to drive We liked having 3 bathrooms

Cons: My only complaint was the driveway The picture showed it flanked by small bushes, obviously listed a few years ago These bushes are now the same height as a car and narrow the entrance This is made worse by the opposite side of the road being a full line of on street parking The car opposite our entrance never moved for the whole of our stay It made it very difficult to access the drive I would recommend that these 2 bushes be removed

Overall good with minor improvements

Pros: Overall a good experience at the house. Internet was very slow (!!) and there seemed to be a dripping tap in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house was in a great location for the Park and Ride into York, and had Tesco nearby. Beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but appreciate that’s our personal taste.

Comfortable stay with plenty space for 4 adults and 4 children

Pros: Comfy living room and plenty space in bedrooms and a good number of bath and shower rooms. Secure garden.

Cons: Kitchen could be slightly better equipped, eg more cereal/soup bowls and oven was not working. Great to have a warm house with good heating but hot water and radiators were too hot for small children in my view.

A lovely home, a pleasant stay and a fabulous place to visit.

Pros: The location was ideal, opposite Tesco for any conveniences, 5 minutes from the Park and Ride, 10 minutes to the city centre, 10 minutes from the outlet shopping area, with lots of places to eat. The house was spacious, clean and warm. An enjoyable stay.

Cons: The oven was difficult to use and we didn't get the top oven to work, but that's all!
