Pros: Location. The bar and restaurant was lovely and the food, in particularly the breakfast.

Cons: I just felt our room was abit dated. The tv was teeny tiny. But it was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Lovely short break away with great views. Lovely area to stay in, nice scenery.

Pros: A really pretty pub. Breakfast was really good value and staff were very attentive. They even brought us a sausage for the dog who was very happy! We loved our cottage and the views of the river. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Lovey pub in a stunning area.

Pros: Amazing location and lovely pub with roaring fires. Great place to stay for some lovely walks in the area. Food was good. Room 202 - the family room was very nicely decorated. Comfy beds. Great tea and coffee with freshly made biscuits. Room cleaned each day which was nice. Molton Brown toiletries. Nice touch. Breakfast was excellent!

Cons: Didn’t get the warm Yorkshire welcome that we have in other hotels and pubs in the area. The loo in room 202 smelt of sewerage. Not pleasant! Some sort of drainage issue. There was nobody to tell on reception. But I’m sure they must be aware.
