Great stay

Pros: Lovely cosy pub with great atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. Central but not noisy.

Cons: Can’t think of anything

Pros: Staff were lovely and very helpful. You get a sense of place inside as there are great photos of the locality - no bland pastel pictures of flowers on any wall. Breakfast and dinner excellent, it's a brewery pub and inn, and the beer was excellent.

Cons: Too much gravy on my otherwise excellent pie, veg and chips dinner - a detail, really.

Pros: Staff extremely helpful and pleasant and everywhere was very clean and tidy.

Cons: The bed was hard (but I don't think that you can please everyone 😊)

Lovely stay as always, friendly busy pub.

Pros: Loved the breakfast, cereal, yoghurt and hot traditional breakfast plus vegetarian options. The full breakfast was a very generous portion.

Cons: I'd have preferred to have tongs to pick the bread up to toast.

Pros: Quirky building with lots of fabulous interesting history,Location is central to all amenities the staff are very happy helpful friendly and go above and beyond to help you the food is delicious a tad over priced, very good breakfast served between 7.30am and 9.30am good selection from cereal to hearty English breakfast lovely homecooked breakfast or fresh fruit yoghurt Just a lovely welcoming place, this is our 2nd time of staying here it is a fab place to stay great outdoor seating area be great in the better weather and secure carpark great fluffy white Towels and lovely bedding good pressure in shower nice and hot.....

Cons: Could do with a very good deep clean massive old cobwebs on light fittings above tables were the breakfast is displayed someone obviously only cleaning at eye level and not checking cleaning in restaurant, some of doors and knobs on banister had really dirty hand marking were people had used doors/ banister and inbetween banisters were very dusty, pillars on bed were a tad flat and could do with replacing with some good hotel pillars, quilt was a feather one that rustled when ever you moved in bed and a double on a king bed..... Keep up the good work by keeping up the great standards expected some black mould could do with bleaching or limescale removal in shower flacky paint above shower xx
