Very pleasant

Pros: Lovely rooms lovey staff. One of the staff noticed how tall my partner was and saw we were in a room with a bed with a footboard so moved us to a bigger room. I thought the thoughtfulness and attention to detail was lovely. The pub was really nice we didn’t eat just had a drink. Only a ten minute Uber into the town centre.

Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like the only thing I did notice is we stayed two nights and had our room cleaned but had no hand towel or the milk wasn’t replenished. I’m sure if we would have asked they would have happily sorted it out.

Pros: All the staff were lovely, they sorted out an issue for us and made sure we were comfortable.

Cons: Personal preference but the mattress was too hard for me.

Lovely stay - amazing staff

Pros: Staff were so friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. You had everything needed for a nice stay - we didn’t eat at the restaurant but had some drinks in the bar and the atmosphere was lovely Location was great, outside of Harrogate but an uber picked us up within 10 minutes. 20 minutes to Patley Bridge for a lovely breakfast and wonder and then we went to brimham rocks - so a lovely central location

Cons: The bathroom was slightly dated compared to the bedroom but it was clean and again you had everything you needed, so I’m not sure it would even be a negative

Good value-for-money hotel

Pros: The room was exceptionally clean and it was serviced during our stay. It was good value for money. The staff were helpful and friendly. There were streaming services available on the TV in the room. Breakfast was £14 pp and there was a good selection of cooked breakfasts to choose from - the full English and the eggs royale were delicious. There were also cereals, yoghurts and toast, orange and apple juice.

Cons: Considering the price of breakfast, it would have been good to have had some fruit and maybe croissants/pastries on the cold buffet selection. The listing needs updating as it stated all the rooms had garden views, which was one of the reasons we booked this hotel, but our room overlooked the car park! It also stated all rooms had a desk - ours didn't, which wasn't a problem for us as we didn't need one, but others ought to be aware in case they require and expect one.

Pros: Lovely family run Inn. Good location. Very good value for money. Staff could not do more. Good food in restaurant.

Cons: Every moment in the next room heard as the walls are a little thin.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked and served hot/warm.

Cons: We were in a room on 1st floor - stairs were difficult for my wife - to be fair I didn’t ask for a ground floor room. The room was clean and warm - I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely and quiet

Pros: Stayed here for my Birthday 31/01/26 great value for money if your wanting a quiet night or 2 away only 5 mins drive from Fountains Abbey and 15 mins into Harrogate The stay was great staff were lovely and the food was fantastic Me and the missus have stayed and eaten everywhere and we would recommend this place even just for its food

Cons: Honestly I couldn’t moan about anything at all and I love a good moan (according to my wife)
