Pros: The general atmosphere was very relaxed and we had personal freedom of the house, almost a home from home.

Cons: Website indicated that breakfasts were available but the Manager Paul stated that they had discontinued the service because they hadn't got the staff available. Had we known this beforehand we would probably have stayed elsewhere.

Lovely, dog friendly and comfortable stay.

Pros: Loved our room, cosy, great size, good layout, perfect for us and our dog. The place was clean, lovely views, nice shower and had everything we needed.

The Blue Bell holds some very special memories for us and Paul is always happy to see us again. 101%

Pros: Paul is an excellent host, the kind of guy who makes you feel truly welcome and he remembered us from our first stay. He put us in the same room we had before, which C loved, I clicked with Paul as we hail from the same neck of the woods originally and had some amazing banter. The room was lovely, very olde worlde, comfy bed, beams in the ceiling (mind your head if tall), and whilst not 5 star you wake up feeling at home. Have a drink in the bar, it's lovely, the locals are friendly, all the local attractions are minutes away. Why pay silly city centre prices when you can stay at The Blue Bell and just skip into to town in the morning?
