Perfect place to stay when visitors g Haworth.

Pros: Food was great. Beds very comfortable. Located in perfect place for Haworth and Bronte fans. Staff were great. Very accommodating of my gluten free needs. Nice atmosphere. Spotlessly clean.

Cons: Booking .com misled us re parking, thankfully Fleece let us know ahead of time that parking was limited due to council rules. We were lucky to find a spot very close. So we didn't like Booking .com's information, The Fleece Inn was faultless.

Friendly & relaxing stay.

Pros: The location was central for all attractions. Staff were extremely friendly from arrival throughout our stay especially the male staff. Breakfast was lovely with a varied choice. Evening meal was excellent with a resident discount. Complimentary Timothy Taylor paddle per room was a lovely addition.

For a budget stay this is a great place. some facilities could be improved.

Pros: The location was great and the decor and duvets in our bedroom were lovely. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. The quality of the food alone would make me come back. Butcher=quality meat, totally delicious. no noise from the pub downstairs.

Cons: the service was a bit grumpy. We asked for another coffee and it didn't go down well. the bathroom was new and shiny and appreciated but there was no storage apart from a tiny drawer. the decor was nice in the room but the windows didn't shut properly and the TV remote didn't work. The ceiling in the corridor is really low and they've put a notice saying 'duck or grouse' up - an actual notice saying 'caution' would work better as i can attest having bumped my head twice.

Fantastic stay in a super friendly countryside inn - great access to the village & surrounding area

Pros: Lovely spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated room. Good breakfast options & tasty, well priced evening meals with a 10% food discount for residents which was a nice bonus, plus a free welcome Timothy Taylor ale taster plank! Excellent location right in the main street, close to all the attractions of Haworth and numerous other food & drink options. Really impressed by the friendly welcome & service from the whole team throughout our stay. Great to have a lively buzz in the busy bar/restaurant with a good mix of visitors and friendly locals. Very easy access out into the surrounding countryside. Would love to return to The Fleece

Cons: Whilst there is no on site parking at the inn, we were aware of this in advance & received good recommendations prior to our stay, having no difficulty finding spaces easily within a 5 minute walk of the inn during our stay. A short waiting time is also permitted directly outside the inn for checking in / unloading your car. Although the sound of the bar downstairs could be heard in our room, this was more background noise and caused us no issue.

An absolute gem of a place. Highly recommend

Pros: Very comfortable rooms, nicely decorated with modern bathrooms. Tons of hot water. Home cooked food with high quality ingredients and vegetarian and vegan options. Reasonably priced and run super efficiently with warm and friendly staff. In the centre of Main Street near the shops and museum. 5 minutes from public transport. Toasty warm even in particularly cold weather.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent, high quality produce and a great selection. Good portions. The room was great, especially as a single room, the bed was a small double. The en suite was lovely and spotlessly clean. The complimentary beer flight and 10% of my evening meal was a lovely gesture.

Cons: My only criticism was that I couldn’t leave my bag 90 mins before check in. The pub doesn’t have a car park and I’d walked up a very steep hill from the main car park near the train station. I didn’t need my room early, just to leave my hold-all so I could look round the village which is very hilly. Instead I had to carry it with me and it was pretty heavy as it had my walking gear including walking boots.
