Vikings Accommodation

Comfortable stay within a short distance of city centre

Pros: The property is in a good walking distance from the city centre and is close to some lovely food places. There is a communal area and kitchen, which we didn’t use but appreciated that the facilities were there. The owner was very welcoming and knowledgable about the area and any events that were on. The room itself was very comfortable and clean.

Cons: It was sometimes a little bit noisy when people were coming in or out, but it didn’t bother us once we were asleep

Perfect break

Pros: The owner was lovely he carried our bags ro our room the room was clean and comfortable .nothing

Cons: Nothing negative to say

Great stay

Pros: Return visit. Welcomed back to property. Same room. Perfect.

Cons: No dislikes

Pleasant stay, accommodation is in a really good location, in walking distance to the centre. There are shops and a bake

Pros: The property is in a good location and easy to find It is clean and tidy and the owner/host was kind, friendly and very helpful, he even carried our bags to our room.

Cons: Not a dislike but the stairs to the top part of the accommodation are quite narrow and steep so may be worth either mentioning or notifying the guest prior to arrival. As someone with arthritis in my knee, it was a little challenging. However absolutely loved the room and everything else and would sta again

Great, will always book here when visiting york.

Pros: Excellent host, location and value for money. Also parking at a very reasonable price.

Pros: Felt clean & safe, and the staff were super lovely :)

Just brilliant

Pros: Perfect location, just a 5 minute walk into York. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and showed me where to park as they do not have a car park. Very good.

Cons: No toilet brush. Other than that, perfect

Brilliant find in York

Pros: The host was lovely, very kind, always checking in if everything was OK and asking if I needed anything topped up in the room. The layout was great, full use of kitchen, tea/coffee making facilities downstairs and tables to eat your dinner. Room immaculate, had everything I needed. Nice and warm too. An amazing stay, would recommend Viking to anyone. Short walk to the city centre, car parking available on the doorstep. Couldn't ask for more!!! 5*

Cons: All was great, no criticism at all for this place or the hosts.

Fantastic Weekend

Pros: The welcome we received by Noah was very good. Made to feel very welcome.. Nothing seemed to much trouble. Room was great, not huge but great for what was needed. Would highly recommend a visit and i think we will be definitely be visiting again. A kitchen for guests to use, a good supply of tea and coffee etc. Earplugs provided in room if needed. Local street parking for £5 a day. Unlike in the city where it could be £25. Only about 10 ti 15 minutes walk into York.. a huge plus.

Cons: No answer to this.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable with good kitchen and green room facilities, good for groups and travellers who prefer to self cater! Nour was a very friendly host!
