The Best Guest House!

Pros: My stay at the Crescent Guest House was amazing. The customer care is truly unbelievable — warm, attentive, and effortless from start to finish. The bed was incredibly comfy, and the room was spacious, clean, and relaxing. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting York and will definitely be back soon.

Fantastic stay, with an excellent host. Room was comfortable and I had a lovely stay overall. Will defintely come again.

Pros: Excellent host. Very friendly, welcoming and happy to help. The room was excellent, exceptionally clean. Facilities in the room were fantastic - hair dryer, lights and shower.

The best weekend! ❤️

Pros: Close proximity to the centre and with parking! Mo absolutely fabulous, so welcoming and took great care of us both!

Cons: There was nothing to dislike we had a wonderful stay!

Lovely guest house and excellent value

Pros: Tastefully furnished with lovely contemporary touches. Good to see tissues and magnifying mirror provided. The bath towel was good size and beautifully soft/fluffy.

Cons: Sadly, this Guest House is on a busy road with traffic (including buses) running late into the night and starting early morning. There were earplugs in the room but found they didn’t stay in very well.

An enjoyable stay all told.

Pros: Location was great to get into town - about 10 minutes walk. Mo, the owner, was a brilliant host and nothing was too much trouble. A kitchen/lounge was available so you could put food/drinks in the fridge and cook for yourself, if required.

Cons: The heating was a bit hit and miss but was being sorted while we were there.

Great place to stay in York, recommend highly!

Pros: Location, clean, shower, hot drinks, recently decorated and room was a nice size. Mo was a true gentleman! Took time to explain things to do York, easy to sort out parking and offered sweets for the kids.

Cons: Bed was a bit uncomfortable for me but I’m picky. Could hear the next door neighbours clearly but did sound like they were shouting!

A very pleasant short stay at the Crescent guest house. Thank you Mo for always being available to assist when needed. W

Pros: The property was very clean , warm and welcoming. Mo gave use a guide on how to navigate the city. Although we had everything we needed in our room we could use the well equipped communal kitchen and sitting area.
