Minster Walk Guesthouse

Pros: The room was immaculately presented, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and quirky in all the right ways. The guesthouse is also exceptionally well managed.

Pros: Ideal location for a short break in York. Opposite the Museum Gardens, so easy to get into the centre. Help yourself to tea/coffee throughout the day and choice of breakfast in your room or in the dining room. We chose the dining room as it would have been a squeeze to eat in the room. Overall a great stay and would recommend

Pros: Nice room, very comfortable bed. Breakfast in bed was a lovely touch. Easy access from the station and close to all the main sights.

Pros: Breakfast delivered to room was a treat and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Any special requests were accommodated without difficulty and our stay was made all the more relaxed as a result. Would definitely book again.

Pros: Loved the small little touches like a welcome drink in the room, breakfast in bed, egyptian cotton linen. Beautiful decor.Very clean. Lovely staff. Excellent communication from the start. Close location to all attractions.

Cons: I don't like to put dirty suitcases on a bed especially on white linen, and there were unfortunately not a lot of space in the room to put and open the suitcases. Not a big issue though.

Pros: The location is fantastic- great parking options close by and walking distance to everywhere. Really good communication before and during stay. Communal area stocked with free hot drinks and snacks and loads of games and books - even a drawer full of chargers in case you have forgotten yours! Everywhere was very clean and clean smelling. Room was comfortable with a lovely big bathroom. Breakfast basket delivered to the room was great - I thought I might miss the traditional option for a full cooked breakfast but I didn't! Would definitely come here again and will be recommending to friends and family

Lovely place, centrally located and very welcoming

Pros: The location was very central, just minutes of of the heart, making the area nice and quiet as well. Also loved the little treats that were available. Schnapps on arrival was a nice touch. The room was very clean and had everything we needed

Cons: It was all very good. I'm having to be picky to find anything. We would have liked a slightly later seated breakfast option. It was delivered to the door at 9, which meant we didn't need to be up too early, but I'm not a breakfast in bed fan and the seated option ended at 9, which is a little early on a weekend.

Pros: Cosy hotel, staff excellent and location was 2 mins from city centre and 10 mins walk from Station. Very quirky decor but lovely place.

Cons: Room wasn't big but we only used for a base, so no real complaints.
