It was amazing and heartwarming

Pros: The property was clean and easy to locate. Best one if you are travelling from Train. Martyn is so sweet and knowledgeable about the locations in York.

Cons: The only drawback there is that they are only providing rooms. If they do breakfast as well, it will become a popular spot.

Our stay was fabulous. Very pleasant young gentleman greeted us upon arrival and ran us through what we needed to know a

Pros: Beautiful property inside and out in a picturesque location and local to all attractions

Cons: We would of loved a view over the river having discovered the location but that’s all we can fault

Suited us perfectly for 2 nights, but it was very compact for the price.

Pros: Very convenient, comfortable bed, good shower, welcoming owner

Cons: Very small room, bijou bathroom. Had expected view over the river.. steep staircase.

Pros: The location was wonderful, so nice to walk along the river to get into town, with the bonus of a parking permit for a little extra. Our room was so cosy, the bed really comfy and we loved having access to a lounge (and outside seating if there for a warmer time of year!). Martyn was friendly and helpful. We will definately be back if the event we attended is back in the same place next year.

Cons: Nothing!
