Great location for easy access to railway station and town centre.
Pros: Great location, close to railway station and town centre. Good to have ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom. Lovely open plan seating and dining area. Lovely touch to have the Christmas tree up over the festive period.
Cons: Hot water for showers was good to start but after about 7 people taking showers the remainder of the party (3) had cold ones. The property could do with a freshen up to the walls/woodwork.

Spacious house lovely location
Pros: Location. First impression lovely. Bedrooms lovely and clean. Enough wardrobe space. Showers and bathrooms mixed sizes double to single.
Cons: Shower from top floor leaking into bathroom below (bedrooms to the front of the house). Dishwasher was not clean. Some glass and crockery in the cupboards had black bits on them from it.

It was a good location for our trip, we were comfortable and I would stay again.
Pros: It is a very good location, easy walking to the City Sights. All the bedrooms had en-suite.
Cons: There wasn’t enough cutlery for our dinner (8 forks for 10 guests). The kitchen could do with a microwave instead of a second grill. The lightbulb was not working in the upper landing and none of the spare bulbs fitted it. The bedside lamps in one of the rooms had a 2-pronged plug but there wasn’t a socket to fit.

Excellent location and good layout for a group, just needs some TLC to remedy some wear and tear
Pros: Five bedrooms and five bathrooms worked really well for nine of us. And the downstairs layout was good too, for our group. The location was perfect, just a ten min walk to the walls, extremely handy for the railway station too. Overall we were very happy with the property, it was well situated for a lovely visit to York. There were good communications from the managing agents.
Cons: We only had one set of keys, so we had to use the keystore all the time which was a slight inconvenience. There were a few things in the house which needed attention as slightly broken, and a bit unsightly. I guess it's wear and tear but we have highlighted them to the owners as it lets down the property a bit. There wasn't as much cutlery as we would have expected, there were plenty of plates and glasses etc though. We found the microwave/ovens tricky to use and couldn't find any instructions, even in the guestbook manual (online link) so it was trial and error. The second internet option did work using the QR code, but the first internet option didn't work really for any of us so am unsure why it's even mentioned in the information. The outside patio area is rather sort of bare and neglected looking, it's shady so is a bit greenish on the decking, only has a few shabby seats, but it could be made so much nicer with a bit of TLC and a few plants in pots.

A really lovely house in a great location
Pros: There were 9 of us staying but the house didn’t feel cramped. The through dining area and lounge made for a nice open space to sit in. The table was big enough for all of us. The location is excellent.
Cons: Parking is tight… but a huge bonus to actually have parking!

Pros: The location was great, the walk along the river everyday was lovely. The house was so quiet which with being so close to the centre was surprising. I loved the house, I could have stayed forever.
Cons: The attention to detail was off. Only 3 toilet rolls for 7 people. Dirty oven. Questionable washing up liquid. Only one dishwasher tab and one washer tab left on the side which we didn't use. No tin foil for the oven. Very sad pillows, so flat and old.
