Beautiful house

Pros: Sycamore House was beautifully presented, clean and warm. The location is very convenient, just a 5.minute walk to the centre.

Cons: Nothing.

A fabulous two night winter break in a beautiful house and a great city - will definitely book again!

Pros: Location was superb - a quiet area only 5 minutes from the city centre. House was warm and cosy even though outside was freezing and it had al the equipment we needed to cook dinner one evening. Beds were super comfy - best two nights sleep I’ve had in a long time!

Cons: Nothing.

Loved it. We had a good time. We played board games in the evenings when we got in.

Pros: Beautiful house in convenient area with parking for 1 vehicle. 10 mins walk to town. Nice quiet location. House was well equipped

Cons: Nothing it was perfect. Would have been useful to have had a dressing table in a couple of the bedrooms when drying your hair as had to sit on the floor or stand at a mirror to do this. Could have done with some oven gloves too.

Pros: The house was fantastic. Beautifully decorated and spacious. Great for families. Everything you could need was available. I highly recommend Sycamore House and we will definitely return.

Pros: Fabulous location & house. We were able to park our car in the street, which was a bonus, being so close to the city. This house is great, very spacious, clean & comfortable and well laid out. We were a family of 6 - 2 adults & 4 kids and we were very comfortable during our stay. This is one of the best properties we have stayed at. Everything about our stay was very welcoming and professional, clean and tidy. I can highly recommend.

Cons: Not being familiar with the washing machine, it was hard to work out if it was a washer/dryer or just a washing machine, so didn't end up using it. I'm sure this wouldn't be an issue if you were familiar with the appliance.

Beautiful home in a great location!

Pros: Beautiful house with period feature and light, airy layout. The management company were really communicative and quick to respond with queries about parking and early check-in

Very comfortable!

Pros: Very comfortable, clean and cosy. Nicely finished, my whole family of 5 felt at home right away (plenty games, tv streaming services etc.). Good size bedrooms. Great parking. Close to the centre of York, short and nice walk.

Cons: Noisy ventilator in the bedroom bathroom which went on during the night (could not switch it off, or it would have been a 10!)

Perfect location, has free parking right outside, great property just as described. Perfect.

Pros: To be honest everything was perfect! The location is spot on with just a quick short cut walk down to the river making it a lovely walk to the centre each time. The house itself was just as described and photographed. It was spotless clean. Great communication prior we knew exactly where to park having a permit for one car right outside that was sorted prior to our arrival easily and the other car just a two min walk away and we knew how to gain access to the property. Kitchen appliances great and we spoke to the neighbours who where also lovely. Made our weekend trip very pleasant.

Cons: There was nothing about this property we didn't like and we would definitely book again and highly recommend.

Pros: Es una casa amplia, bien decorada y acondicionada. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. Y los espacios comunes, la cocina y el salón, son fantásticos. No aprovechamos el patio trasero, pero es un buen espacio.

Cons: Es extraño, pero no hay puerta que separa el baño ensuite de la habitación principal.
