Lovely from start to finish, excellent service from every member of staff we met, great place to get away from everythin

Pros: Everywhere was lovely and the contrast between old buildings and and new was really nice. Everyone was so welcoming.

Cons: The only thing I would change is the tv’s something more of a smart tv so you can connect to more Chanel’s etc

2 day trip

Pros: So we came down to York because we were visiting a friend, and came along this hotel. Booked this hotel and when we came the staff in the reception were extremely friendly and welcoming, told us where everything was/ open till, after arriving we went to our room and then went to dinner everything was cleaned and tidy We didn’t even know they had a games room, and found a dart board (we love playing darts) Everything/ everyone was friendly We will be definitely coming back 😌

York stop over

Pros: I liked the quiet location , not far from York. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very attentive and the dining was extremely good value for money and the food was of a high quality.

Cons: The floors above creaked somewhat but it didn't bother us unduly.
