Really good place to stay and I would return i. Yhe future

Pros: Really good location for the city centre. Nice hotel and staff were really helpful.

Cons: We stop in a small double but on arrival there was workmen outside the window which started early on the morning with power tools. Room was too hot. ALTHOUGH this was an issue when we spoke with staff they were really polite and helpful and moved us to another room at the other side of the hotel.

Pros: Staff were fantastic , location fab , rooms great. Value for money. Have stayed before and will go back . Wouldn’t go anywhere else if going to york

Lovely hotel with great bed and breakfast rate and lovely staff.

Pros: Beautiful building, warm rooms, comfortable bed, lovely bath and shower room. Great breakfast and really reasonable B&B rate

Cons: There was some noise from building maintenance work but it didn’t disturb us at night.

Nice hotel - expensive car parking!

Pros: Really nice hotel, nice bar/food area. Comfortable bedroom and lovely bathroom.

Cons: We didn’t realise how close the train track was, a couple of 6am wake ups from the train going past. Also I don’t agree with the £18 charge for parking, should be included in the hotel rate, the parking is private and on the property so not sure why it should be an extra charge and at £18 per night is pretty extortionate.

All in all a lovely hotel for our overnight stay.

Pros: The location was brilliant, just a short walk to the centre. The room was spotless and comfortable. The Staff were very polite and helpful. I would defiantly recommend and stay at The Churchill Hotel again.
