Enjoyable stay.

Pros: Comfortable room, helpful friendly staff, excellent food, bar with large selection of real ales 🍺.

Cons: Bathroom light was on an automatic timer and annoying at night when using the wc.

Really delightful, lovely place. The hosts make an effort and it pays off.

Pros: The cooked breakfasts were delicious every morning (the sausages especially). Dan and Katie and the locals were so welcoming and kind. We don’t usually spend as much time in our accommodation but passing time in the pub became the cherry on top of a lovely holiday. It was cozy and friendly. We’d recommend this place to any friends that are visiting the area.

Friendly place full of character in a pleasant village.

Pros: Very friendly people in community run pub in a lovely location. Was allowed to check in early which was great.

Cons: Air con and plumbing were noisy but it’s an older property full of character so couldn’t expect everything to be ‘perfect’

Pros: Such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Everything we needed was there. The room was so spacious. The beds so comfortable. Bathroom was huge.

Cons: That i live so far away to come as local each weekend.

Superb in every way.

Pros: Nice location, very friendly locals. The staff could not have made us more welcome. The breakfast was excellent great home cooked food menu. We happened to be there on one of their curry nights.Wow it was worth the journey from Essex just for that. Would return in a heartbeat, thank you to all the staff for making us feel welcome.

Pros: Our family room was fantastic, lots of space. Fab shower and the tea/coffee/complementary milk was great too. The landlady of the pub was so friendly and welcoming, and she catered for my daughter, who is a coeliac. We ate dinner there, and it was amazing, homemade pie, incredible, and so was the breakfast. I wish we could have started longer!
