Great value for money accommodation in an excellent location with friendly staff

Pros: Great value for money and in an excellent location. The hospitality from the staff was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel welcome throughout our stay. We had a good sized room which was very clean with a comfortable bed and good facilities. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying there again.

Quaint spot

Pros: Lovely room, looked to have been recently refurbished. Friendly lady greeted us and nothing was too much trouble. Nice atmosphere in the evening with locals and guests mingling.

Cons: Breakfast could have been a bit hotter, lukewarm baked beans. Road noise was a slight disturbance, mainly due to the swishing in puddles due to heavy overnight rain.

Good place to stay for visit to Masham

Pros: Great location and easy parking. Nice bar areas. Large bedroom with king size bed and very comfortable bed and pillows. Slept really well.

Cons: Stairs upto the rooms were incredibly steep so difficult for those with mobility issues.

Pros: Great value, cosy pub And rooms. Top floor rooms are really nice! Town is excellent for those who haven’t visited

Cons: Only complaint was that food seems to have dropped a bit since last time. Pie was burnt and risotto and veg a bit unusual. Small compliant though, great place!

Masham lovely place great pub to stay in for the price

Pros: The room was small but very clean and comfortable good sized bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent lots of choice and nice cooked option. Staff really lovely

Lovely comfortable room right in the centre of the village

Pros: Great location with a good breakfast for two of the three mornings we stayed. Lovely big room with a very comfortable bed and a large shower. We were above the bar, which was busy, but it didn’t disturb us at all.

Cons: A few little extra touches around the eating area would make this place the perfect to stay.
