A nice cosy place for a valentines break

Pros: The breakfast was excellent. Everything cooked fresh to order. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Cons: I sadly booked the 1 room without a private bathroom. Both the toilet and bathroom were across corridor. Otherwise the room was perfectly adequate.

Really comfortable stay with friendly staff, good beer and food. I'd recommend and would stay again

Pros: Great breakfast. Downholme is a nice Location if you're looking for that seculded small villiage vibe with terrific views over the north yorkshire countryside. Very quiet at night and slept like a log. One tip, taxi's are expensive, £16 to Richmond and forget about ordering an Uber as there arent any ! To help with costs I'd recommend the bus and return by taxi if that's your thing.
