Peaceful stay in pretty village

Pros: Stayed in the duplex room. Very spacious downstairs with comfortable sofa, living area and log burner. Nice location in small village, though no other options nearby for food. Happy to eat on site, evening meal was good and a great breakfast. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

Cons: Bed was very bouncy and slightly too hard for me. No lights for just downstairs, which was not convenient if one person awake and one in bed.

The Wheatsheaf Inn was a lovely place to stay, ideal for walking and a base for exploring the Dales.

Pros: Both dinner & breakfast excellent. The room was comfortable & warm the view was a bit restricted.

Cons: It would of been nice to have had Dinner a bit earlier.

Pleasant pub and accommodation

Pros: We stayed in \

Cons: The staff informed us that we could also have asked them to get in croissants for breakfast (which my daughter would have loved), however we only found that out when it was too late for it to make a difference, something upfront about this would have been an extra bonus.
