Excellent location, excellent value for money would definitely recommend

Pros: Staff at Reception on arrival were very helpful in particular Francesca. Room was good, everything you would expect was available i.e. Hairdryer, Iron and Board, additional electric heater if needed and also complimentary Tea tray. The bed was very comfortable one of the best sleeps we have had in a Hotel and no external or internal noise. Breakfast was good with a range of cold and hot items on offer. We liked the fact that although the hotel is Dog friendly all these rooms are on one floor and therefore as my wife is allergic to dogs there was no chance of contamination from Dogs in our room. We loved Harrogate and plan to return in the near future and will definitely book to stay at The Crown Hotel.

Cons: The hot water was tepid and could have been hotter.

Really enjoyable stay, lovely characterful hotel

Pros: The position is fantastic, 5 min walk to centre. Lovely characterful hotel. Lots of original features. Loved our stay here. Excellent breakfast. Staff really pleasant & helpful.

Cons: The bed we found quite hard, but that’s personal preference.

Pros: Everything.... The staff were all wonderful, the breakfast quality and choice excellent, very clean throughout and a perfect location

Cons: Can't really say we didn't like it but the carpets etc are dated.. however we also appreciate the vast expense required to update
