A pleasant stop over.

Pros: Good location, nice room, comfortable bed, pleasant staff.

Cons: Not much - no lift, which was a slight nuisance.

Lovely comfortable stay

Pros: Really enjoyed our stay here and had a lovely relaxing break. The hotel has such a cute cosy vibe to it and had everything we needed. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and tea/coffee making facilities. The housekeeping staff were great, cleaning the room and replenishing supplies daily. We dined at the pub downstairs for breakfast and dinner twice during our stay - the food was great overall, although the same breakfast dishes did vary in quality between the different chefs. I liked that their standard check out time is 12 noon, which definitely does make a difference for me, as the last day still felt nice and relaxed, not having to wake up early and rush to pack up.

Cons: Only thing to note is that the walls are very thin - we were woken at 7am one morning by a very lively couple in the room next door to us, so do bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Harlow Carr visit Decembet

Pros: Lovely warm welcome. Nice atmosphere. Nice decor. Comfy bed.. Close to Harlow Carr Gardens. Very pleasant bar area in the evening. Excellent breakfast.

Cons: I had a double room, the room was an attic room and although beautifully appointed it was a little small, wouldn't have been much room for two people.

Excellent location

Pros: An amazing location just near enough to Harrogate and very handy for Harlow Carr Garden. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the background music from the bar played from 8am till 11pm at night and I could hear it in my room.

A comfortable choice and very convenient for visiting RHS Harlow Carr

Pros: Easy to find. Good parking. Warm welcome from Jo. Comfortable room. Ate in the restaurant and would like to commend Layla our server on coping with tricky dietary requirements. Also Vi at breakfast service who also was very helpful. A menu revue by the chain would be a good idea to avoid the problem!

Great hotel, great staff in a great location!

Pros: Great hotel, in a great location. The hotel staff on arrival were very helpful and friendly. The general areas of the hotel were very clean and tidy. The bar area was tastefully decorated, and welcoming. The Breakfast area was functional but comfortable with a cosy open fire. Tea,coffee and fruit juice was on a help yourself basis. The breakfast menu had a good choice including a vegetarian option. We both had the traditional breakfast ( full English ) which was very tasty and set us up for the day. Our room ( 4 ) was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely view over the beer garden / outside eating area. The shower was great too.

Cons: The only negative, and it is a small one, was upon arrival, our room was red hot! Easy fix though, turned the radiator down and opened the windows!

Cons: Small silly thing was 3 of us booked and only 2 biscuits in the room, also a bottle of water would be great and filter coffee bags would be much more appreciated than instant coffee, not negatives just our opinion for positive thoughts, pic of full English was my son's so he didn't want mushrooms. Or tomatoes, cracking breakfast

Great hotel

Pros: The room was fabulous, comfy bed, a TV I could see clearly from the bed, lots of plug sockets, especially useful next to the bed as my husband has to use a sleep apnoea machine and the staff were very pleasant. I liked that the hotel reception was separate to the bar. A good carpark. The hotel was close to both Harrogate centre and the RHS gardens. Looking forward to staying there again

Cons: The food menu was not to our taste

Exceptional service, great location and great value for money.

Pros: The staff were all extremely helpful and always with a smile! Rooms were very clean and well made up with excellent bathroom. Breakfast was delicious! Great location, 10mins from Harrogate train station by taxi. Great location especially if visiting the Army Foundation College as this was our purpose of our stay. It was 10mins by taxi from the hotel.

Cons: Everything was perfect.
