Starbeck Micro Hotel

Did exactly what I needed the room for

Pros: Location and cost, quirky, quaint but does what it says on the tin

Cons: There is nothing not to like, maybe the parking but that’s fully understood because of its location

Pros: Cheap and cheerful, clean room, easy check in. Shared kitchen facilities ok. Was great for a one night stay.

Cons: steps to room a little too steep, cabinet fixed to wall restricting access to one side of the bed. Could do with extra hanging facilities for clothes.

Great service

Pros: Through no fault of the owner a guest had not vacated our room the owner greeted us and paid for a lovely apartment in Knaresborough and even drove us to the apartment for the inconvenience great service cannot fault the customer service.

Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room and shower room good sizes

Pros: How close to proximoty of where we neede to be. How cheap it was

Cons: Just tp let you know. Squeaky bed . Also no plug for rs bed light.

Pros: 30 minute walk to Harrogate center. Bus stop just across the road or train staion 1 minute away. Plenty of food option on the door step. Nice pub next door.

Comfortable convenient for work with no issues id stay again.

Pros: It was an unusual place but i was very happy with what i received for the cost and the decor is different but funny i was comfortable and not bothered by any noise or room issues. Was a pleasant stay only finding parking was a little inconvenient but achieveable.

Cons: Cant say I disliked anything definitely would stay there again for convenience of job and food services available in close proximity. As a budget quick stay late booked hotel i found it to be just as expected and maybe a little more because of the quirky decor.

Pros: The set up is very well thought through, with a fridge and a kitchenette. The decor was fun, and the room was very clean it was a lovely experience. I expected the room to be very small, but it was actually of a decent size.

Cons: A minor problem was some noise outside but there again, this was pre-christmas time on a Saturday.

Perfectly placed, comfortable room

Pros: Very nice room, perfectly sized for what I was after. Fantastic location next to the train station and bus stops with shops and food places pretty much next door too. Walk in-shower with good water pressure. The shared kitchenette was really useful too. Very much enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this microhotel.

Great place to stay in Harrogate

Pros: The place was easy to find and perfectly situated next door to Starbeck train station, for easy access to and from Harrogate. Jesper, the concierge, went above and beyond to resolve an issue for me, which I was very grateful to him for. Along with Mark, the owner. Rooms are very cozy and small, but are certainly enough if you just want a place to sleep, and are priced just right. Kitchenette is very handy to have as well. Having The Prince of Wales pub across the road was nice as well, where everyone was welcoming. No food served, but cheap drinks. And an array of shops and eating places within walking distance, is very handy. Overall, very happy with my stay and would highly recommend.

Cons: Nothing.
