Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful during our visit. We had a lovely meal in the pub which has a cosy and friendly feel. The location was beautiful.

A delightful relaxing break in exceptional countryside.

Pros: Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and cost of an evening meal in the pub.

Cons: Lack of scenic view from our room, but it did not spoil our break in any way,

Pros: Welcoming and friendly local, just right for my needs. I walked to and from this village. My host made me a packed breakfast which I was very grateful.

Cons: It took me a moment, to work out how the low voltage bedside lights worked. This is very minor.

Pros: Beautiful location just off Wensleydale so a beautiful location without the hordes of visitors. Lots of local dog walks. All the staff were very friendly and it was lovely to have virtually our own entrance to our room. A proper dog friendly pub. Excellent food, much locally sourced. Would definitely stay again.

One night stay, lovely little quiet village, if I’m coming back to that area would definitely think about staying again

Cons: Every was good but i would like to say .We we’re in room 6 and had difficulty locking the door and there was no water coming out of the hot tap . Apart from that everything was very good

All you need in a village b&b.

Pros: The Fox and Hounds had everything we needed, complimentary toiletries, comfy bed, lovely towels, great food and beautiful village setting with a waterfall, also friendly locals.

Cons: Only drawback was the chairs in the bedroom.
