A lovely place with a great vibe

Pros: A lovely friendly village pub, excellent atmosphere. Very quaint , excellent staff, great cat called pancake very homely vibe. Excellent break fast.

One night of complete relaxation and calmness

Pros: The on-site restaurant was a highlight. Breakfast featured a wide variety of options, from fresh fruit juice (Orange and Apple) a choice of cereals and yougurts. I also dined there one evening and was impressed by the quality of the food and the attentive service. The wine list was well-curated, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal.

Quiet and peaceful in picturesque little village in the Yorkshire Dales

Pros: The location was superb and the staff friendly and helpful. The meals we had there were first rate too

Cons: The bar closed early. The towels weren’t changed during the whole 5 day stay even when left on the floor to be changed as is usual. Otherwise it was lovely and relaxing

Amazing staff and pub.

Pros: Staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. Garden room was charming if a little rustic. The pub itself is fantastic and the breakfast was also excellent.

Cons: Only applying to the garden room, it was a shame that the shower was outside in the outhouse. It is charming but personally I prefer a proper bathroom, especially when I’m on the road.
